Remember what we started with?
Here are a few notables of late:
Yellow warbler fledgling:
Prairie Rose growing in old field now that it's not mowed:
Bee-like Robber Fly:
Monarch nectaring on Wild Bergamot:
Bronze Copper and Honeybee nectaring on Culver's Root:
Emerald Jumping Spider:
Super interesting Grass Carrier Wasp making a nest in our deck chair. I sit here and have tea and this wasp bothers me not at all.
Zebra Caterpillar on Purple Prairie Clover:
Hummingbird Clearwing Moth on Wild Bergamot:
Stag Beetle on kitchen window (WOW!):
Giant Leopard Moth that fed something else:
Checkered-fringe Prominent Caterpillar (love this little fella):
Gray Treefrog on Ashy Sunflower:
This is a great life! Truly, truly great.
