Plumbing Upgrade, Part 1

How does nature preserve + natural body products = new plumbing?

Steve works at Big Darby Headwaters Nature Preserve which is right across the road from Mikamy Meadows Natural Products and these folks turned out to have a relative who is also a plumber near where our new house is. Ya just gotta ask a lot of questions!

So our plumber, Ron Spruce, started replacing our old cast iron pipe today. He first cut out the old main waste line:

Then, using CPVC, he connected our toilet to the waste line that leaves the house:

When I left he was finishing up running a drain for the washing machine:

We are so grateful for having connected with Ron. He's a great guy and an excellent plumber and we can't wait to resume flushing!

  3. I think Ron did pretty well on your old cast iron pipe and washing machine drain! His work looks polished and quite sturdy. And he is pretty serious with his job. He didn’t even look at the camera when you snapped him a picture. Good job! You should also commend him for his choice of material. CPVC pipes are a good choice of material for a plumbing system. These are durable, easy to install and maintain, and cost-effective.

  4. I think you should give Ron an MVP award for being the "Most Valuable Plumber!" HAHA! Well, it's really a big thing when you have a plumber like him who produces quality work. What he did are some important improvements that made your home better. :)

    Regards,
    Darryl

  5. Because no fish farmer will say he/she established his/her fish farm without the service of a plumber who is not above or between the age of 50yrs to 60yrs. Plumbers Articles
