Some of our friends in Carlsbad planted an entire garden of heirloom tomatoes this summer which fed them, their friends (aren't we lucky?) and some local restaurants! The plants are still producing and pictured is our latest batch along with some figs from their property as well. We are thinking salsa with the tomatoes and continued fresh eating of the figs.

Late Season Harvest
Some of our friends in Carlsbad planted an entire garden of heirloom tomatoes this summer which fed them, their friends (aren't we lucky?) and some local restaurants! The plants are still producing and pictured is our latest batch along with some figs from their property as well. We are thinking salsa with the tomatoes and continued fresh eating of the figs.
